Music is Fun
The St John’s Children Choir is a project designed for children and young adults in our parish and its environs. Young people engaged with the Youth Choir receive free weekly music tuition and sing in church at our All Age service on the first Sunday of every month. Our Youth Choir project offers excellent vocal and musical instrument training for children and young people.
The Youth Choir rehearsals occur on Saturday mornings; rehearsal time slots are from 10am to 2pm.
A refreshing break
Tea is always a good idea!
Every Saturday between 11am-1pm, we have a ‘Warm’ drop-in Centre with Tea/Coffee, Cake, Board Games, Newspapers etc.
Enjoy a chat, take a break, and have some light refreshments!
Every little helps!
St John’s Church Food Bank is open every Saturday between 11am and 12noon.
It is open to everyone who needs support.
We provide non-perishable food items to help with the cost of living crisis.
We also accept donations of non-perishable food and essential household items to help stock our Food bank.
If you or anyone you know is struggling to afford essential food or household items, feel free to come to our Foodbank
Supporting those in need
